UASC does not have a “dress code.”  Skaters, however, often feel that wearing skating attire makes them feel more professional, which helps their practice attitude.  You should base attire decisions on your skater’s needs and your budget.  Skaters, however, SHOULD NOT practice while wearing flowing clothes and long hair should be pulled back.  Wearing leggings and other close-fitting clothes helps the coaches observe body position and placement which enhances their ability to teach correct form.

Gloves or mittens keep the cold off skater’s fingers and also protects their hands during those inevitable falls!

You can purchase UASC fleece logo jackets in various sizes.  A portion of the profits fund our scholarship program.
